Description
This well maintained property is as idyllic as it gets! A four season house located on the Pemaquid River, adjacent to the Bristol Mills swimming hole and dam, offering wonderful waterfront and farmland views. A small wooden bridge connects you to the property from the main road. The riverfront connects to Biscay Pond and to the swimming hole, providing plenty of recreational possibilities. Feel free to take one of the provided canoes up river. In may and June one can observe the Alewives running up the fish ladder right in front of the house!
Inside, three bedrooms and possible overflow sleeping area, and two bathrooms make this an ideal rental for up to 6 people. Plenty of common areas provide space to unwind. Bristol Diner is right down the street and ten minutes later you can be at Pemaquid Beach and fantastic local seafood restaurants in New Harbor. Ten minutes to restaurants, shops, and movie theater in Damariscotta and to the charming village of Round Pond, where one can find more excellent fresh seafood. Down the road is the 1812 Barn wedding and event center, in case you are coming to town for a function there!

*Please Note as of Tuesday, September 7th Bristol Mills Swimming Hole closes as water must be drained for work on the dam, including the installation of new gates and a footbridge to access the fish ladder. -Bristol Town Hall
